Even the Kardashian's Wear Hand-Me-Downs!

Kim Kardashian seems to like sharing clothes with her little sister, Kendall!!  Check out Kim and Kendall on various red carpets, wearing the same dress!  Kim shared that she lent Kendall her black and white Azzedine Alaia Dress this week.  It's nice to see some down to earth qualities from the Kardashians.  Its shows that even millionaires share clothes with their siblings!!

Fashion Wars

The swagger is definitely back in Brooklyn; the Nets are coming back, celebrities are nestled comfortably in Brooklyn Heights and even designers and retailers are re-designing Fulton Street Shopping Center. Even the ultimate fashion and pop icon, Rihanna was spotted in Brooklyn’s East Flatbush neighborhood. So is it true?? Is Brooklyn the new Manhattan and if so facto how does this influence street style?
The theory is Manhattan girls are chic, ensembles are put together well and will always include a touch of Prada, a dab of YSL, and little bit of Gucci with the final touches being a fabulous pair of heels. Manhattan fashinonistas strut down 5th avenue like a public runway. Their hairstyles are perfect tresses of shiny curls and sleek up do ponytails.  The world revolves around them and they know it. They love trends and follow them well with the assistance of the latest Vogue and Marie Claire of course.
On the other hand, Brooklyn fashionistas style is more relaxed, less effort and seemingly more fun.  Brooklyn girls rock funky haircuts, torn jeans, and graphic t shirts and shoes under 3.5 inches. Brooklyn fashionistas walk without purpose and direction. They carry fun bags and replace copies Vogue with bottles of water. On the surface they look sloppy and uncouth compared to their sister counterpart but they seem less stressed and more confident.
So which borough of street fashionistas will be the reigning queens of ultimate NYC street style? The truth is the platform is different it’s like comparing apples to oranges. Brooklyn will always have it fundamental differences and so will Manhattan. It’s uniqueness in both sides of the bridge which is what makes for incredible street style. That’s what fashion is all about having fun and spinning a traditional trend with a unique personality.
